Eh.... not so comfortable for me... but WAAAAY cute.
I really like this shoe too. I was surprised to see the picture on Amazon because it looks SO much more attractive in real life. It looks strangely cheap to me in all the photos. I wish there were a photo of the TOP of the shoe so you could see it from the angle most people will see it in (including the wearer). They have that hiker/rock climber look to them... very much like "Keens."
As far as fit, I also felt like it "hugged" my foot. Nice comfy, toe box. But as far as my feet not hurting... my feet DO hurt after a while... but that's after hours of standing. When I'm out & about (say doing errands with the car) they're fine. I just wouldn't want to go standing for hours on end. Let's just say I wouldn't take these to Disney World. They don't have enough cushioning in the sole for that. I find the sole to be thin and the arch support is not as much as I'd like it to be. From what I gather, people like Merrells because of the fact that their feet don't hurt but I personally haven't found any of my Merrell's to be good standing (or long-term walking) shoes. (I have the Primo Breeze/Vent and the Ewephoria boots.)
But perhaps I'm being harsh because I'm comparing them to my "Dansko Professional" clogs. Now THESE are wonderful for long-term standing or walking and they literally last for years. But my Merrells? I buy them on discount and for the style, not the comfort.
Perfect Sneaker.
As a set costumer, I am on my feet for most of my 65+ hour a week work. Foot comfort is very important, and I feel Merrell Siren Sport is my perfect sneaker.
I love my Merrells
I bought a pair of Siren Sports 2 years ago for hiking. I started wearing them to work to break them in, and found them to be so comfortable that they became my everyday shoe. I'm a nurse who works 12-hour shifts, so they've really been tested! I've found the regular Siren Sport to run true to size. I also own a pair of the Siren Sport with Goretex, and these seemed to run about 1/2 size smaller...they were comfortable, but a little bit tight.
