Stunning in red
I was so excited to get this shoe. The red shoe is just so vibrant and lovely. Too bad for me that it runs large- at least a .5 size large. I own some other shoes in this brand and ordered a 6, assuming that they would fit in the smaller size (I usually wear a 6.5), but they were still too big. I have never worn a 5.5, but that is what I would have to get in these shoes. The color was really pretty red- not in a loud, tacky way. The foot bed is in the same material that the wedge heel is rapped in- that was a bit weird for me, but it wasn't hard- just different.
Disaster
I was entirely too excited for this product to arrive, it was exactly what I was looking for and I HAD TO HAVE IT. The package arrived and my excitement disappeared as soon as I was struggling to get them on. With the espadrille on my feet, it felt like all the blood was pooling in my toes, WAY TOO TIGHT. My feet are not wide [I fit in regular medium width shoes] and these espadrilles are made for really, really, really narrow feet. I was so disappointed, and after mulling over various ways I could stretch them out, I decided to return them, the pain and plotting are not worth it. There are many other shoes out there that won't make me go insane.
Great shoe! Too big!
This is a great shoe for a great price. I am really disappointed it is too big, at least a half size. But since they don't have anything smaller than a 5, I will keep them.
