Available this Fall on the Nintendo DS, Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure allows girls to take flight as the beloved Tinker Bell and go on an exciting quest to find the lost treasure north of Never Land. Fans can also create their own Fairy and explore the magical world of Pixie Hollow, complete quests and play mini-games to help prepare for the Autumn Festival. In addition, players can gather items to customize their Fairy’s wardrobe or even furniture to decorate their Fairy’s home. A bitter disappointment as a follow up
For those of you who loved the first Tinkerbell game, you will be disappointed in the second one. The game is able to be played in two different modes, one story mode and one fairy mode. The fairy mode is very much like the first game only this time you are able to be the type of fairy you want and then do little chores for other fairies. You also have a little house to decorate. It is very fun but they dumbed it down so much from the first game, if you are looking for a challenge, dont get the game. The story mode is INCREDIBLY simple. I was able to beat it in less than a hour. No challenge. No excitement. Very sad little game.
Disappointing
The first game was great! My daughter played it constantly (to be honest, so did I). By when my son lost it, she opted to try this one instead of replacing the old one. Well, at 6, she was able to beat in with the first day of owning it. While she likes it, I think she likes the ability to "tink", which she loved in the first. But, you cannot make outfits or jewelry like you could in the first one. Because it was such as bust, I am going to buy the first one for her again. If they come out with a third version, I will wait for reviews before purchasing.
My 7 year old daughter loves it!
My daughter cannot stop playing this game, she received several other ds games and this seems to be her favorite by far. She likes the option to play as five different fairies and the cards that come with the game that she gets to use by typing in the different numbers for codes. She also like the scenery in the game and to also decorate her fairies home.
